have you ever experienced this before?
you thought that you knew a person inside out, but it turns out that you have actually only been seeing a facade she put up for the past few years you have been together.
well, i just uncovered one of my good friend's (better than acquaintances, not best friends though) facade, revealing the true person she actually is deep inside, today.
well, i'm sorry if i am going to be a tad too harsh here, but this is really how i feel.
lets call her miss X.
(this is to cover up the identity of the person, though she will know that it is her herself once she reads this.)

ok, i just went out with miss X and two of her friends plus jocelyn, hui ting and wang min to lunch right before band today.
the sun was shining, the skies were clear and the buses were spacious. =D
everything was actually quite perfect.

until at macdonalds'.
once we bought our stuff to eat and has happily settled down, the horror started.
miss X and her er, what was it...oh yeah, clique, started to make fun of hui ting.
not that i'm against anything of that sort just for fun, but the fact was that they kept right at it.

ok, its one thing to do it occasionally as friends to poke fun at each other here and there, i mean, hell yeah, i call wang min a dork and i make fun of how vanessa looks sometimes.

but its another thing altogether when the teasing actually starts to hurt the person. its not called teasing anymore, its bullying.
one of them even went as far as to say that hui ting was a "bitch".
i mean, ok, kwara calls everybody she knows a bitch for fun. you can tell by her tone of voice when she says it.
but this was different.

anyway, they kept at it until as i looked at hui ting's face, i could see her smile begin to strain and the look in her eyes.
the look in her eyes pleading them to stop.
that vulnerable look in her eyes was too much for me to bear.
and i asked if she was ok. she replied with a soft ahh, nevermind la.
it wasnt ahh, nevermind la. obvious.

i thought to myself, what has hui ting done to deserve all this shit from them?
cant she fight for herself?
then jocelyn said that that was the way how they treated newcomers.
omg. no.
hui ting is no newcomer ok.
yes, she joined the band just last year. but she has been with us ever since then and how could they still treat her like a newbie?
screw them! i'm sorry, but seriously, SCREW THEM.
shes a part of TK Band. as much as any of us are.
i was actually quite disgusted, frankly, at how they were treating her.
her, a member of their own band.

hey, miss X, you can hate me for all you want after reading this post.
but all i can say now is that i'm disgusted at how you asswipes treated your own band comrade.
the name calling, the bullying.
hello? she almost burst into tears right there and then!
i also seem to remember the time one of your friends called you a traitor just because you didnt sit with them during one geog elect lesson and you broke down just because of that.
well? think about how hui ting must have felt! she must have felt terrible dont you think?!
she must have felt worse than how YOU felt ten-fold!
i bet my ass that if you were her, you would be suicidal already.

what did she do to deserve all this piss from you asswipes?!
from what i know, shes a really nice girl who apparently doesnt deserve all this from you fuckwits.
i seriously felt like calling all of them a bunch of assholes and bitches in front of their faces, right there in public.
yes, it was that bad. that was really how bad i felt for hui ting. luckily for them, i managed to swallow the whole thing down and keep silent.
then i suggested going back to school earlier when miss X and her clique wanted to go to popular. yes, it was me. ME OK.

i thought that you were a really nice girl since sec one.
but i never thought that i would see this side of you emerge.
all i can say is that i'm really disappointed with you as a TK Band member and as a friend.
i can never look at you the same way again.

eugene says that if he were me, he would have yelled at them and scratched out their eyeballs, feeding it to the stray cats on the street.
ok, maybe not he didnt exactly say the eyeball part. i added it in.
but he said that he would have definitely yelled at them.
